This custom home was designed as a unique, "starter" home with a Victorian flavour. Emphasis was placed on cost, yet trying to achieve a unique design for our customers.
To try to reduce costs, yet achieve a spacious feeling, we introduced low exterior walls on the second floor (6'-0") for bedrooms 2 and 3, along with cathedral ceilings. The cathedral ceiling extends across the foyer area, creating a dramatic front entrance.
This design can easily be modified to increase living area or to add a double garage, while keeping the aesthetic qualities intact.
