This side family room addition was designed to create additional living space. It incorporates a formal foyer entrance, a mud room entrance, family room area, and a dinette area. Along with the addition an attached garage was added. Terrace doors were added, overlooking a new patio. Interlock walkways, along with planter areas compliment the addition to create a stunning yard.
Emphasis was placed on designing an addition that blends into the existing, flows well, and lets an abundance of natural light into the existing home. The design challenge was to create a large addition, without overwhelming the existing home.
A palladium window, along with a cathedral ceiling was used to create a feeling of openness and space. A gas fireplace was added for cozy winter evenings. Interesting roof line were introduced creating an unique look. Terrace doors off the dinette overlook an awe inspiring interlock patio.
