The original home was split up into small rooms and a tiny kitchen.  There was no access to the rear yard from the main floor. An open concept was the goal for this Ottawa renovation to allow for entertaining guests at Games Night. 

 

Now everyone can visit, eat and play together. The new unobtrusive patio door, tucked away in the corner, leads to a new deck and a lovely backyard for indoor/outdoor integration.
