A perfect bright-red apple still on the tree, surrounded by lush green leaves. There is dew on the apple and it looks delicious, perhaps in time for Thanksgiving in Ottawa, Ontario.
Apples, apples everywhere! So many beautiful orchards near Ottawa

If you feel like taking a lovely autumn road trip out of the city around Thanksgiving, you might visit some of the area’s orchards, pick your own apples, let the kids run free, and just breathe in the crisp fall air. Our team has some ideas about ways to celebrate this beautiful month. Here they are.

  • Saying hello to the roaming chickens

  • Playing in the family activity area
