At last! Days are getting longer, sunsets are brighter, geese are overhead, and we can (almost) put away our coats and boots for good. It’s April in Ottawa!
At Lagois, we think it’s one of the loveliest times for families and for getting out to celebrate the new season.

A landmark moment in dance, the world premiere of Procession introduced two of today’s most inventive and sought-after choreographers to The National Ballet of Canada. This debut delivers uncompromising creativity set to a Baroque score featuring renowned mezzo-soprano Alex Hetherington and cellist Coleman Itzkoff.

The incredible Diana Krall at the NAC
April 10 and 11, 8pm
Southam Hall, National Arts Centre

World-renowned Canadian jazz pianist and singer, multi-Grammy and Juno Award winner and known for her sultry contralto vocals, Diana Krall will be back at the NAC. Tickets tend to go very fast.

Easter egg hunt in the forest
April 3-6

The Log Farm, 670 Cedarview Road, Ottawa
Bring your own basket to collect colourful plastic eggs scattered along the forest walking trail, then exchange the eggs for an Easter treat. Take a wagon ride to the sugar bush and visit all the farm animals ‒ especially the bunnies. There are children’s play areas, too.
