Come and meet Darren and Sophie

If you’re finishing school or thinking of changing careers, there are two people you should meet.

They are Lagois Production Manager Darren Vander Meer and Lagois Project Development Manager Sophie Villeneuve.

They will be at the Rogers Centre on Oct. 7.

The event is the Best Places to Work Career and Training Expo. 

Sophie and Darren will chat at the Lagois booth about why Lagois Design·Build·Renovate really is one of the “Best Places to Work”.

They know. Darren has been with Lagois for seven years, and Sophie for 19.

They will also answer your questions about training opportunities and the home-building job market.

During the event they will participate in a presentation by the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association campaign called “My Future is Building”, where they will talk about their own careers in the building industry.

Darren will be representing the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association (GOHBA) Trade development Initiative committee, which he chairs. This committee, along with the “My Future is Building” campaign, promotes skilled trade career opportunities in the Ottawa region.

The expo goes from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. There is a parking garage attached to the centre. (Look for the Rogers Centre logo.)
